A web site must, foremost, be easy to read and easy to navigate. It must be
clear what the company or organization offers, and the navigation elements must
not leave the visitor wondering what they mean.
|
 |
An elegant appearance can make a wonderful impression on a visitor. A coherent
design that pleases the senses will automatically reflect well on your company.
|
 |
Text should be well-written and without typos or misspellings. It should convey
your message clearly and simply.
|
 |
Because of the nature of the web, pages must be optimized for quick
downloading. Graphical elements, however attractive, must not be so large that
they cause annoyance owing to their long download times.
|
 |
"Bells and whistles" such as animated graphics and scrolling text, while often
adding interest and an imaginative touch, should be used judiciously.

Because of my programming background I am able to implement a wide range of
technologies in developing a web site. I can provide
form handling,
scripting
on both client and server, and full-fledged
ASP and ASP.NET applications
that provide dynamic, data-driven web pages and back-end programs for
administering your web site.
My sub-specialty is
ASP.NET, the new Microsoft technology that
facilitates the creation of dynamic web sites with significantly greater speed
and reliability, as well as a shorter development life-cycle.
Additionally, I have experience using such products as
Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator, and
Adobe LiveMotion to render a variety of
designs.
I look forward to working with you to put together a memorable web site!
